For a blunt knife, sharpen it in the Coarse section before removing the tiny particles using the Fine section. For knives that are already sharp, simply polish it in the Fine section. Hole the Samurai Edge handle is on your left hand with the words indication facing you. Place the knife blade onto the slot and pull it towards you. Do not push it back out to the opposite direction.

You may clean the blades of Samurai Edge with a damp cloth and use a brush to brush away metal residue.
You may store it in a cool and dry area, away from sharp objects, sunlight and running water.
As with most things it depends on use or misuse. You will be able to tell when your knives take longer to sharpen or don't sharpen, but, with proper care Samurai Edge should last a very long time.
As long as the Samurai Edge handle is on your left hand with the words indication facing you. You will still need to use your right hand to handle the knife sharpening.
If it's been a long time in between sharpenings or if the knife is super dull, then yes, use both Coarse and Fine. If you sharpen regularly or the knife is not very dull, then the Fine slots should be the only ones needed.
Samurai Edge does not have any replacement blade available.

Samurai Edge will not scratch the side of the knife. The tungsten carbide blade is only enough to reach the bevel cutting edge of your knife.
You can use it to polish different kinds of knives and tools except for serrated knives.
For ceramic knives, there is no need to sharpen. However, for a ceramic coated knife, you can sharpen it by using Samurai Edge.
It is useful as long as the number angles of the Japanese knives you own are within 14 to 24.

This Samurai Edge sharpener can sharpen your pocket knife for sure. For the broken tip of your knife, It depends on how damaged the tip was. If it was broken badly then I'm afraid the sharpener can not help to regenerate a new tip for the knife but can only sharpen its blade.
Samurai Edge is a quality sharpener, so it can be used to sharpen a high quality knife.
Due to the size of the grooves of an axe blade, the Samurai Edge sharpener is not designed for the Axe blade.

There is only even number angles for Samurai Edge.
The Samurai Edge angle adjustment is for coarse and fine. As with every manual knife sharpener of this type, the blade will still need steel to clean the edge of burrs.
